oh the shamelessness

This is an unattributed blog for documenting demonstrations, experiments, and personal explorations. Posts are intentionally uncredited focusing on content over authorship and cover topics I’m asked to showcase or find intriguing. Built for simplicity, speed, and privacy.

What This Is

A public notebook of technical demonstrations, solved problems, and exploratory thinking. Content is intentionally unattributed to:

  • Reduce bias (yours and mine)
  • Encourage reuse without attribution pressure
  • Prioritize information over identity

What You’ll Find Here

  • How-to guides for tools I’ve wrestled with
  • Reverse-engineered workflows
  • Code snippets with explanations, not just answers
  • Occasional theoretical detours
  • things I just do badly

What You Won’t Find

  • Personal anecdotes, lol ofcourse you will
  • Opinion pieces (unless labeled as such) and highly redacted
  • Trackers, analytics, or comments

Here’s an expanded Principles section with deeper philosophical grounding and practical implications:

Principles

  1. No authorship:
    • Posts stand on their own merit.
    • No bylines, bios, or social links.
    • Authority comes from clarity—not credentials.
  2. No gatekeeping:
    • Assume readers are competent but unfamiliar.
    • Explain acronyms, link to fundamentals, but avoid “beginner-friendly” condescension.
    • No “obvious” dismissals; document the invisible steps.
  3. No permanence:
    • Content may evolve or vanish without notice.
    • Corrections overwrite; no changelogs or apologies for past errors.
    • Dead links stay dead. The internet is ephemeral by design.
  4. No ownership:
    • Use, remix, or discard anything here—no credit needed.
    • No licenses, no disclaimers, no “terms.” (Default: CC0)
  5. No performance:
    • No analytics, no “most-read” lists, no SEO games.
    • Words exist to be read—not to be counted.

Why These Rules?

  • Antidote to influencer culture: Remove the author, and the idea gets tested, not the persona.
  • Anti-hoarding: Knowledge decays; this site embraces its own expiration date.
  • Focus on utility: If a post can’t survive without its author’s reputation, it wasn’t clear enough.

Design Note: For visual hierarchy, render this as a bulleted list with faint divider lines between principles.

Want to add exceptions (e.g., “Except where law requires attribution”) or tie this to a specific philosophy (stoicism, anarchism, etc.)? I can adapt the language.

Technical Details

Why?
Because sometimes the best way to think clearly is to remove yourself from the equation.
